Eligibility for Admission
- Graduates from any University in Karnataka or any other University of India recognized as equivalent to it obtaining 50% of marks in aggregate of all the subjects studied in 3 years are eligible for admission to B Ed Degree Programme (RIMSE CBCS scheme). In the case of SC, ST, Category - I and Physically Handicapped, minimum marks for eligibility shall be 45% in the aggregate of 3 years of their course. However, the institute shall adhere to the order of the University of Mysore in force in respect of minimum marks for eligibility for admission to B Ed Degree Programme (RIMSE CBCS scheme).
- He has studied one of the following subjects (appropriate subject or paper titles) as optional or Major for all the three years: Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Sericulture, Mathematics, Statistics, History, Political Science, Sociology, Geography, Economics, English, Public Administration, Education, Journalism, Environmental Studies, Computer Science/Application, Kannada, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu, Arabic, Marathi, functional English or any regional language.
